Aggressive sales pitch – If a siding contractor is too aggressive with his sales pitch or refuses to let you know the benefits of a costly siding material, take it as a signal to part ways with the pro’s company. 4. Asks for too much upfront – On the other hand, if your potential siding contractor is asking for too much money upfront, consider looking for a different contractor instead. This is a sign that the person doesn’t run the business as efficiently as it should be. In fact, any reliable siding contractor will have a sufficient amount banked to be able to finish your project without asking for too much upfront.
